If you've experienced sexual assault or abuse, you may know this feeling: your mind has moved on, but your body hasn't. You startle easily. You feel disconnected. Relationships feel complicated. You carry something heavy that's hard to name, and sometimes hard to explain — even to yourself.
That's not weakness. That's your nervous system doing exactly what it was designed to do. It protected you. And now, it needs help learning it's safe to let go.
Hypnotherapy works by gently accessing the subconscious mind — the part of you where trauma is stored — and helping release it at the source. We don't relive painful memories. We don't dig through the past for the sake of it. Instead, we work to loosen the grip that the past has on your present, so you can feel at home in your own body again.
This work is close to my heart. I've worked with many survivors, and what I've witnessed — again and again — is that healing is not just possible. It's available to you, sooner than you might believe.
